"Down Paradise Row"

Down Paradise Row is romantically set at the turn of the 19th Century and includes well loved sing-a-long tunes from the 1900s to the late 1950s

The show tells the story of Rose O'Brannegan, a London 'barrow girl' who gets left a fortune by her uncle Alistair. Our plucky heroine soon takes on the lifestyle of the 'well to do' and goes in search of her long-lost husband, William Bailey O'Brannegan. Rose's search takes her to New Orleans, America.

During the show songs such as On the Sunny side of the Street, Hello Dolly, Don't Dilly dally on the Way, Mame, and of course 'On Mother Kelly's Doorstep, are performed.

All of the music has been beautifully arranged and digitally recorded in an unforgettable traditional style which immediately takes the audience back to the time when music really was music...

Set in two 45-minute acts with a 20 minute interval, the show (complete with its own overture) is packed with nostalgic, foot-tapping, irresistible tunes, and the audience is encouraged to sing along.

Rose O'Brannegan is played by Fiona Harrison who is renowned for her gorgeous costumes. During this production Fiona wears period attire to complement the magic of yesteryear. It results in a most enjoyable experience; very well received.
