These shots were taken on 13th August, 2006, when Fiona gave two performances
at the Wings & Wheels International Militaria Show at Ursel Airfield,
Maldergem, Belgium with a total audience of several thousand.
Her morning performance was given to VIPs in the large Aircraft hanger, (decorated by huge fan-shaped parachutes) while the afternoon singalong was to the specialist public and re-enactors, from the outdoor podium some half a mile away, to which she (and her audio equipment) was transported in true military style - in a Willeys Jeep!
Framing the airfield were two rows of stalls. each 800 metres long, selling everything from replacement Jeep tyres to recently dug-up Nazi helmets and memorabilia. All Nazi swastikas on the memorabilia had to be covered over with tape.
Fiona was complimented on her superb performances and the quality of her sound equipment by no less an authority than the Belgian TV compères...
